Document Delivery

We are responsible for obtaining materials unavailable at the Mount. Students, staff and faculty can borrow physical material and obtain copies from works that are not held by the Mount Library.

Services

Eligibility

Document Delivery services are available to students, faculty and staff of the Mount and Community Borrowers registered with Novanet.

Request Forms

All requests must be submitted online.

Document Delivery

Document Delivery supplies materials other libraries across Canada and internationally.

Requests can be place using the ‘Request Document Delivery’ button in WorldCat, the ‘Check for Full Text…’ link in our databases and choosing Document Delivery from additional options in the Journal list or by using the Document Delivery form:

Novanet Express

Novanet Express supplies materials from other Novanet libraries. 

Requests are placed via the Novanet Catalogue.

Faculty & Staff

Canadian Requests

There is no charge for items available within Canada.

International Requests

Document Delivery will cover fees for 3 international requests a year for Faculty and Staff. Faculty and staff are responsible for any further charges for materials acquired internationally.

Document Delivery will confirm any charges before pursing an item internationally.

Delays can be avoided by using the ‘Max. Cost’ field of the Document Delivery request form. International charges average $25 or more.

Students

Canadian Requests

There is no charge for items available within Canada.

International Requests

Students are responsible for charges for materials acquired internationally.

Community Borrowers

Canadian Requests

There is $10 charge for items that are available within Canada.

International Requests

There is $10 charge for requests; Community Borrowers are also responsible for charges for materials acquired internationally.
