RefWorks: guides, instructions, tutorials

Creating a bibliography from a document

If you've used One Line/Cite to place citations in your document, or if you've used Write-N-Cite during the writing process but are now having trouble using it to create a bibliography, try uploading the document into RefWorks.

In order to use this function, your citations must be in Write-N-Cite code, and should look something like this:

Go to Bibliography > Create

Select your preferred output style and browse to the document

RefWorks will prompt you to download a new version of your document. Its file name will now have have word "Final" in front of it.

Remember to look over your references and edit any proper names that have been put in lower case!
