RefWorks: guides, instructions, tutorials

Importing from SpringerLink

1) Conduct your search in SpringerLink. Please note that you can only export one reference at a time. Click on the title of the item you would like to export to RefWorks.


2) Once on the item page, click on "Export Citation."


 3) Select "RefWorks (RIS)."


4) Save to an easily retrievable location.


 5) Log into RefWorks. Click "References" (top, left side of screen) and select "Import."


6) Under "Import Filter/Data Source," select "RIS Format." Under "Database" select "Multiple Databases." Select "Browse" to locate your file. Select your file and click "Open." Click "Import."


6) Click "View Last Imported Folder" to locate your reference.
