Graduate Studies Guide

This guide is intended to help graduate students at MSVU make the most of the library. It is loaded with advice on databases, print resources, RefWorks, the open web, and more!

  • A current Mount ID card is required to borrow materials from the library.
You also have the option of using your Mount web mail login  to access ebooks and article databases from off-campus.
  • There is no limit for Mount or Novanet faculty and students in good standing.
Other borrowers may have 10 (ten) MSVU items signed out at any one time.
  • Materials may be borrowed and renewed at any Novanet Library.
Students are able to order items from any of the member libraries to be delivered to the most convenient member library using the document delivery service. This is a free service and it will take approximately 3 - 5 business days from time of ordering to be delivered to the Novanet institution of your choice. You will be contacted by email when the item arrives.
  • Materials may be returned either at Novanet Libraries or Public Libraires in Nova Scotia.
