The mission of the Interfaith Peace & Friendship Centre is to foster compassionate inclusive relationships with self, and others of diverse faiths through awareness, respect and appreciation.


  1. To increase awareness and appreciation of the rich diversity, especially of religious, spiritual and secular beliefs, faith, and practice, on campus and in community.
  2. To provide a venue where people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs can come to know each other and develop friendships.
  3. To welcome, encourage and facilitate programs and events that help to foster compassionate inclusive relations.
  4. To partner with diverse campus and community groups to realize the mission.
