Where's the full text?
If you are unsure whether an article is available in full text or not, please click on the 'Check for full text . . .' link closest to the citation to check if the full text is available at MSVU. The 'Check for full text . . .' link will check to see if the article is available in another
database, or to see if the library has a copy of the article in print. If the article is not available at MSVU please look at our document delivery options.
Citation Indexes
Citation indexes allow you to find articles which have cited other works. You can think of it as a reference list in reverse.
- Web of Science
A multidisciplinary index with the capability of searching an article's cited references to locate related research. Links are available to selected full-text articles. - Google Scholar The “Cited by” feature allows you to see details of later articles that have cited the article whose citation appear in the results list of a search

- American Chemical Society
Full-text access to 42 key chemistry journals. - Journal of Chemical Education American Chemical Society provides online access to all volumes from 1924 to the current year for MSVU as a subscribing institution.
- Institute of Physics Journals Online Full-text access to 66 key physics journals.
- Royal Society of Chemistry Journals Full-text access to 32 key chemistry journals and 6 databases on catalysts, chemical hazards, natural products, organic syntheses etc.
- SciFinder Scholar
Accessible only from computers in the Chemistry Lab, computer labs and Information Commons. To register as a valid MSVU user, please contact a faculty member in the MSVU Chemistry Department. - Nature : International Weekly Journal of Science All articles published from January 2006 to those in the latest issue of the current year may be read online.

- Science Direct 1800 full-text multi-disciplinary journals.
- Springer - LINK Articles from 1,692 full-text science journals as well as access to over 7,100 titles in the Springer E-Book collection.
- National Research Council Journals 15 full-text journals published by the Canadian National Research Council.
- Web of Science A multidisciplinary index to over 10,000 leading peer-reviewed journals in the Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Sciences with the capability of searching an article's cited references to locate related research.
- Academic Search Premier Provides indexing, abstracting and over 4,000 full-text journal articles in many disciplines.
- Research Library (Proquest) 2600 journals indexed/abstracted (1700 full-text) in various disciplines
- Agricola On Agriculture and related topics. Indexes/abstracts 2.5 million citations, links to full-text in Academic Search Primer.
- GreenFILE (EBSCO) Focuses on the relationship between human beings and the environment, with topics ranging from global warming to recycling to alternate fuel sources and beyond.
- DOAJ : Directory of Open Access Journals A collection of articles from over 5,100 scholarly and scientific open access journals of which 82 are in the field of Chemistry.
