The Atlantic Centre of Excellence for Women's Health is one of four national Centres of Excellence for Women's Health funded by the Bureau of Women's Health and Gender Analysis, Health Canada. The Centres are dedicated to conducting policy-oriented research aimed at improving the health status of Canadian women by making the health system more aware of and responsive to women's health needs.
Explores women's roles in the USA economy between the Civil War and the Great Depression. The collection currently contains 3,460 books and pamphlets, 1,125 photographs, and 7,489 pages from manuscript collections.
This site is a collection of narratives and reflections of "elder women" (65 years of age), who are recognized by their peers for their long-term activist contributions to Atlantic Canadian Society. It features "profiles" of women activists from all 4 Atlantic Canadian provinces.
