As of December 19, 2025, MSVU will end its use of the Relais ILL management service.

Students, employees, and other library patrons may continue to request interlibrary loans and document delivery via Novanet.

  • Log in using your MSVU e-mail credentials. 
  • MSVU e-mail credentials cannot be changed by Library staff. If these credentials are not working, please contact the IT&S Helpdesk via helpdesk@msvu.ca or call 902-457-6538 

Request a specific item through Relais Document Delivery»

  • Log in using the 14-digit barcode on your Mount ID card.
  • Your password is your surname, exactly how it appears in your library account. Spaces and hyphens should be included, but not accents or other diacritics. 
  • If your barcode or password is not working, please email library@msvu.ca or call 902-457-6250 during open hours for assistance.

Log in using your MSVU e-mail credentials.

Login to Your Relais Document Delivery Account»

  • Request a renewal of a book borrowed from outside of Novanet
  • Check the status of a request
  • Cancel a request
  • Send a message to Document Delivery staff

Once logged in choose "Open Requests" from the side menu.

Login using the barcode on your Mount ID card;
your default password is the last 4 digits of your phone number.

If your barcode or this password is not working please phone: 902-457-6250 during open hours for assistance.

Novanet Library Account

Log In to Your Novanet Library Account (includes Document Delivery)»
  • Renew your loans
  • Check the status of holds
  • View fines and blocks

Once logged in, choose the "My Library Account" tab.

Log in using your MSVU e-mail credentials.

Request or Update an MSVU ID card.

Your Mount ID card is your Library card. The credentials on your ID card (barcode / PIN) can be used to place holds, order Document Delivery items, renew books, or check the status of your Library account. 

Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to visit the Library in person to receive an ID card. If you're unable to visit campus, please use the following form to request a new ID card, an update sticker, or have your login credentials e-mailed to you.
