With some exceptions (e.g. the MacDonald Room), Library users may consume snacks and covered beverages in the Library. Library users should avoid consuming food and beverages near computer workstations.
With the exception of authorized events, Library users are not permitted to consume alcohol in the Library.
To help prevent spills and reduce waste, reusable, covered travel mugs should be used for beverages whenever possible.
Food and beverages are not allowed in the MacDonald Room in order to help preserve the rare book collection and prevent pests.
Library users are responsible for disposing of any food waste or packaging they bring into Library spaces. Recycling stations are available throughout the Library.
