Document Delivery is a service through which MSVU students, staff, and faculty can request materials (articles, book chapters, physical books, etc.) that are not available in the Mount Library's collection from other libraries.
Please see below for details, or to access the form for requesting materials. For questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Document Delivery services are available to students, faculty and staff of the Mount and Community Borrowers registered with Novanet.
All requests must be submitted online.
Document Delivery supplies materials from other libraries across Canada and internationally.
Requests can be placed using the ‘Request Document Delivery’ button in WorldCat, the ‘Check for Full Text…’ link in our databases and choosing Document Delivery from additional options in the Journal list or by using the Document Delivery form:
Novanet Express supplies materials from other Novanet libraries.
Requests are placed via the Novanet Catalogue.
There is no charge for items available within Canada.
Students are responsible for charges for materials acquired internationally.
Document Delivery will confirm any charges before pursuing an item internationally.
Delays can be avoided by using the ‘Max. Cost’ field of the Document Delivery request form. International charges average $25 or more.
