Document Delivery is a service through which MSVU students, staff, and faculty can request materials (articles, book chapters, physical books, etc.) that are not available in the Mount Library's collection from other libraries.

Eligibility
Document Delivery services are available to students, faculty and staff of the Mount and Community Borrowers registered with Novanet.

All requests must be submitted online.
Document Delivery
Document Delivery supplies materials from other libraries across Canada and internationally.
Requests can be placed using the ‘Request Document Delivery’ button in WorldCat, the ‘Check for Full Text…’ link in our databases and choosing Document Delivery from additional options in the Journal list or by using the Document Delivery form:
Novanet Express
Novanet Express supplies materials from other Novanet libraries.
Requests are placed via the Novanet Catalogue.
Canadian Requests
There is no charge for items available within Canada.
International Requests
Students are responsible for charges for materials acquired internationally.
Document Delivery will confirm any charges before pursuing an item internationally.
Delays can be avoided by using the ‘Max. Cost’ field of the Document Delivery request form. International charges average $25 or more.
Log in using the 14-digit barcode on your Mount ID card.
Your password is your surname, exactly how it appears in your library account. Spaces and hyphens should be included, but not accents or other diacritics.
If your barcode or password is not working, please email library@msvu.ca or call 902-457-6250 during open hours for assistance.
Once logged in choose "Open Requests" from the side menu.
Login using the barcode on your Mount ID card;
your default password is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
